1. Accuracy of description

The skill must do what the description says. No inflated claims, no features that don't work yet. Reviewers test each submission against the description.

2. Minimal permission scope

Request only what you need. If your skill reads emails but doesn't send them, don't request send permissions. Over-permissioned skills are rejected on first review.

3. Setup documentation

Users need clear setup instructions. If there's a config step, document it. If authentication is required, explain how it works. Missing documentation is the most common reason for rejection.

4. Stability

Skills must function reliably during review. Crashes, timeouts, or broken flows will result in rejection. Test your skill thoroughly before submitting.

5. No data exfiltration

Skills must not collect, transmit, or store user data without explicit disclosure in the description. This is a hard rule — violations result in permanent removal.

6. Honest representation

Don't claim your skill is verified, official, or affiliated with a tool it isn't. Don't use brand names in ways that imply endorsement you don't have.
